FoneTrans for iOS Help

FoneTrans for iOS supports all models of iOS devices and lets you easily share and manage iOS files, whether exporting iPhone/iPad/iPod files to iTunes Library and computer, or importing files from computer/iOS device to your iOS device, or transferring files between iOS devices.

Export file(s) from iPad/iPhone/iPod to PC or iTunes

Here we take Music for example.

1. Run the software, and connect your device to computer.

2. Click "Media" on the sidebar, select the "Music" tab on the top of the right panel and then select a specific Playlist or a song. If you want to export several songs, you can press Ctrl button on your keyboard and then select music one by one. At last, you can click "Export to" image button to export files to computer/iTunes

Transfer Files from Computer to iOS Devices

Here we take photos for example.

1. Click the node of Photos on the left and then click "Add" to import files.

Tips: To add photos to specific Album, you need to select the Album first and then click "Add" image button to add photos.

Import Files from One iOS Device to Another

Here we take transferring photo from iPad to iPhone for example.

Step 1. Run the software, connect iPad and iPhone to computer via USB one by one. Then select Photos or Album you need to transfer.

Step 2. After selection, click "Export to" and select your device name and then transfer these photos from iPad to iPhone.

Uninstall the Program

Method One: Click Windows Start menu, go to "All Programs", find "FoneTrans", and select "Uninstall".

Method Two:
Windows XP: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Uninstall Programs > FoneTrans > Uninstall.
Windows 7: Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > FoneTrans > Uninstall
Windows 8: Settings > Control Panel > Programs > FoneTrans > Uninstall.
Windows 10: Settings > Apps > FoneTrans > Uninstall.

Click the "Register" button and you will see the window below.

NOTE:
After you purchased FoneTrans for iOS successfully, the registration code will be sent to your email address that you filled in the order form.
Email Address: The email address that you fill in the order form.
Registration Code: A string of characters marked as Activation key, license code or KEYCODE(S) in the order confirmation letter you received after the successful purchase.

Click "Menu" -> "Preferences" option to open Preferences Window.

iTunes Temporary Folder: Select a storage location for iTunes temporary files.
Update Settings: Automatically check for program updates. Also you can set the update time interval (Every Day/Every Week/Every Month).

Photos

Automatically convert to JPG/JPEG for better compatibility.

Videos

Automatically convert to different quality for better compatibility.

Contacts

Name Order: You can order the output contacts by language automatically, by "First name, last name" or by "Last name, first name".
