Getting Started

1. Download and install Mac FoneLab Android Data Recovery.

2. Connect Android phone to Mac with USB cable.

3. Open USB debugging mode

You should authorize Mac FoneLab Android Data Recovery before it works to recover lost data. A pop-up message box appears showing you how to open USB debugging mode. Follow the instructions in the following pictures to continue.

4. Select file types to recover

After opening debugging mode, you can then choose the files type to recover by ticking the box next to certain file type. Notice there is Select all option, you can tick the box next to it to select all files types. Press next.

5. Recover files to recover

After Mac FoneLab Android Data Recovery has scanned files in your devices, you can then go to the recover process.

Wait seconds. The software will then appear the folder which contains the files that has been restored. You can remember the place, or move these files to a familiar place in your computer, so you can view or transfer them whenever you need.

Preference

General

Click "Menu" -> "Preference" button to open Preference Window, which allows you to set the following options to get a better user experience.

Output

Select a storage location for Output Folder and check the corresponding option to automatically open the output folder after recovery.

Update Settings

Here you can let this app automatically check for program updates or not. If choose automatically update, you can also set for the update time interval (Every Day/Every Week/Every Month).

Update & Uninstall

Update File

Go to Menu > Preferences to check for the latest version or click Update option in the Help menu to check for update manually. Of it has an update version, this program will pop up a window to remind you. You can click "Update Now" to directly download and install the latest version.

Uninstall the Program

If you do not want to use this app on your computer, just simple clicks can totally remove it.

Method: Click Finder, go to "Application", find "FoneLab for Android Data Recovery" and right click on Remove to Trash.
